Mariah Carey has a new neighbor on the American Idol judging panel with pop-rapper Nicki Minaj making herself at home beside her.

It's reported that FOX will make an official announcement soon, although the news has spread faster than the flu this winter. No surprises there.

Sources said that Nicki is "100% confirmed", while another magazine reported a source saying that the singer is "definitely doing it."

Joining the Idol judge rumours is Nick Jonas who confirmed he is considering filling a seat with Mariah:

"The rumors are true... I am being considered to be a judge on American Idol, and it would be a dream come true if it happens," Nick Tweeted on August 4.

After Mz Lopez left the Idol clan, Mariah and Nicki have big booty to fill...er, we mean shoes. Yes, shoes. Although, if the video below of Nicki in a bikini is anything to go by, she won't have a problem with that!
