Katy has been making her way around the UK to promote her 3D concert film 'Part Of Me'. When Katy sat down for a chat with UK radio station Capitol FM she let a few little details slide on her upcoming 3rd studio album, it sounds like a few of her personal secrets could come out in the new record.

'I would love to just let it be the black box of who I am,' Katy told Capital FM. She also revealed that since her heartbreak with Russell Brand the album is expected to be much 'darker' than 'Teenage Dream' as it's only natural that those experiences would find there way into her music.

But an album purely on heartbreak is something she could never do 'I'd never devote a whole record to heartbreak,' she revealed. 'I'm happy, I'm in a good place, I'm looking forward to my future'.
