WTF! Avril Lavigne and Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger are engaged. We thought she was still with Brody Jenner! It seems like only a few months ago we were suspicious she was pregnant with his kid! Should we just quit our job now....?

Apparently the couple have been dating for six months, ever since they collaborated for a song on Lavigne's upcoming album.

According to People, Kroeger offered the Skater Boy singer a 14-carat diamond sparkler back on August 8th.

It's not the first time Avril will have walked down the aisle, marrying Sum 41 frontman back in 2006. Sadly, their marriage lasted little more than three years.

Second time lucky? We sincerely hope so. Congratulations Avril and Chad!
